Experience the ease of electronic document signing with CodeB Mobile Document Signer. This user-friendly tool allows you to quickly add your electronic signature to PDF documents. Here’s how it works:
- Visit CodeB’s PDF Mobile Signer on your desktop.
- Upload the PDF you wish to sign.
(note: documents are deleted after signing) - If you want to create your own visual stamp klick the signature capture icon.
- Use your mouse to create a selection box where you want your signature.
- Click the stamp icon to confirm the signature location and then hit the upload button.
- You will be asked for your notification email address. Also you can define if a signature requires a NFC ID Card.
After uploading your document, a QR Code will appear on the screen. You’ll also receive this QR Code via email to prevent any inconvenience if your browser accidentally closes.
To sign your document:
- Scan the QR Code using the QR Code Scanner in the CodeB Signator or CodeB Authenticator app.
- Press ‘sign’ in the app, and voila! Your electronically signed document will be sent directly to your email.
For those with NFC Signature cards like the Maltese ID Card, German “Heilberufsausweis” (HBA), or the German “Gesundheitskarte” eGK, you can apply a Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) to your PDF without needing a desktop NFC card reader. Simply select the “Require NFC Card Signature” option when uploading your document. Your mobile device will then function as an NFC Card Reader.
Unsure if your card is compatible? It’s easy to check:
- Download and open the CodeB Signator or CodeB Authenticator from the Google Play Store.
- Navigate to “Card Reader” in the app, enter your Card Access Number (CAN), and place your mobile device on the card.
- A progress bar will appear at the top of the screen. If it completes and your name is displayed, your card is supported!
This seamless process transforms your mobile device into a powerful tool for handling important documents securely and efficiently.
